Maa Skandmata is depicted with four arms. She holds Lotus flowers in two hands, carries Lord Skanda (Kartikeya) in her lap with one hand, and blesses devotees with the fourth hand. She rides a lion and is also known as Padmasini because she sits on a lotus flower.
